Agency Workers to get (nearly) equal rights – but not yet
A deal was struck last week over Agency Worker rights: the Joint Declaration issued by the Government was agreed by both the CBI and TUC and will presage a major change in the law: temporary and agency workers will be entitled to the same treatment as their permanent counterparts after 12 weeks working for a company.

China has new visa rules for business visitors
There are new requirements for people visiting China on business. In addition to a completed visa form, passport and extra photo, you will need to produce the following:
- Visa Notification Form issued by the relevant department of Chinese government or the government-authorized company.
- A copy of your Chinese hotel booking; and
- A copy of your outward and return flight ticket booking.
